We are sisters, who have been competing on ponies for a number of years. Our ponies are kept in the beautiful area of Mylor Downs, Cornwall, it is very picturesque and quiet with excellent facilities at Maynards Meadows. Team Skyrme is a real team and could not work without everybodies help from our family and friends, the vets, farrier, osteopath, dentist, our trainer's Mary Gwennap who helped us enormously with our general riding and understanding of my ponies and International BD Trainner Tina Daems, and the owners of the ponies mainly Evadne Cosgrove, Jacquie Chamberlain, Debbie Alderson, Andrea Hill, Emily Kenyon and Rob & Karen Curits. Our main achievements are competiting at the BD regional talent spotting, GB Winter League Dressage, Trailblazers, WPCS & NPS Young Judges Finals, NPA,SWPA,WPCS Young Handler Championships and at the main ridden Championships at the RIHS, BSPS, NPS, SWPA, Shetland Breed Show, Cornwall Arab Breed Show, National Welsh Show & Windsor Horse Show. We have been lucky enough to be envolved in many really nice ponies, which are all detailed on this website.

Jan 2010 This pony is 12h LR/FR, 7 yrs old. She has been broken over the winter with exceptional movement and temperment. At her first show she took qualifications for Equifest, Royal London, SWPA, DCHPA 2010 on route to the Reserve Championship. Well done to her new owners Mini Champion at their first show pictured below, and now qualified for RIHS & Champion at BSPS Wales 2010. Good luck in her HOYS qualifier tomorrow in Wales.

Feb 2010 Meneth Rythmn N Blue, dark bay p/b arab x welsh gelding 4 yrs. Sire: Barkway Overture Dam: Jackets True Blue. Owner Deborah Alderson.
Attended his first ridden show at the NPA winter show won the part-bred M & M class and took the qualifier for the NPA Champion of Champions, South West Pony and DCPHA Qualifier excellently ridden by Zoe. At his second show 13a he won the BSPS mixed height novice. The show season so far has been very successful 1st Devon County, 2nd Royal Cornwall, 1st & Reserve Champion Launcstan, 1st open SP NPS Devon and 1st & Champion SP NPS Cornwall. At the NPS champs was 2nd in the Tambrook final and reached the evening performance. Blue had a wonderfull BSPS champs where he had qualified for the Premier League & Blue Ribbon Pony.

March 2010 At their first show as a combination Zoe and Bertie gained 3 firsts and champion of Show. He represented Penryn College SJ Team gaining several placings, He has won many M&M, WHP ridden classes throughout the season including the Open M&M ridden at NPS Cornwall qualifying for the NPS Champs, we has also been Champion WHP at Frogpool and Gwennap show. He is representing the SW WPCS at the performance competition 2010. He qualified with the BSPS for the premier league at the BSPS champs.

Sept 2009 at the DCHPA Championship Show at his very first ridden show. Won the NPS Novice Ridden; NPS Pure Novice and then the DCHPA Novice Championship Final, then competed in the evening performance class!! Taking two qualifications for the NPS Winter Championships in 2010! In 2010 he has qualified for BSPS, DCHPA, PUK, NPS, SWPA & SWPA Search for a Star, Royal London & Equifest and winning Novice and Open mixed M & M classes. He has also qualified for the National Welsh Show Inhand & Ridden. Breed Champion at NPA Breed Show winning his Welsh Medal & Res Champion Stallion at the Welsh Medal Show & Res Breed Champion.
OTHER PAST AND PRESENT PONIES
Megan
She was our first pony all of 11 hands. She was purchased as a shaggy unshown mare in 2000 as an 8 year old. As a youngster Megan was based at Bristol vet Centre as a blood donating Pony. In 2000 after a year of showing locally, we affiliated with the BSPS. At the first affiliated outing Megan and Lilian qualified for RIHS SP. Megan went on from strength to strength at Pony Club winning many prizes in dressage, showjumping and cross country. Competing at the BSPS Winter Championships she won 2nd LR SP, 3rd FR SP, 2nd Tint Tots WHP, 5th FR SHP being a few. She also represented the Four Burrow Hunt PC at the Windsor Horse Show. This amazing special pony was ridden by Zoe and Lilian. She went to a new home in 2005 in Cambridgeshire for a little 5 year old girl to ride and she continued her successes.
Pipson Lyndon
Is a registered Part Bred Arab cross Welsh, gelding 13 hands. Sire Pipson Michael and dam Carveth Monique. Lyndon was obtained as a freshly broken 4 yr old in 2004 from the Pipson Stud. Lyndon was a stunning colour. He had such outstanding successes. He had such a delightful personality and all children adored him who came into contact with him. He excelled in the showring winning many many championships and showed great protential as a WHP. He was sold to be produced by G Laity in 2006 and became Reserve Champion Open SHP at the BSPS Summer Championships in 2007.
Westhaven Silver Shadow
A registered Shetland gelding owned by J Chamberlain. Sire: Surpass of Marshwood and dam Ripple of Hasguard. This gorgous shetland was ridden by both Lilian and Zoe in 2004/5. He had amazing successes including in M & M WH, the main achievements was being Reserve Champion Ridden at the Shetland Bred Show, points winner ridden at the Shetland Crealy Shows and 3rd LR M&M BSPS Winter Championships. He moved to Lancashire in 2005 and is now back for 2008 and continuing their winning ways! He qualified for the NPA Champion of Champions 2008 and won the NPA Performance Shetland class 2008. He has now retired and gone to a lovely new home in Flushing to live with his brother where he is very happy! Thanks Jacquie for letting us ride this special cuddly shetland.
Fofsway Fleur
A beautiful black registered Part Bred Welsh mare aprox 12 hands with exceptional breeding. Sire Castanau Ebony Prince and dam Rosevean Flutter came to us as an inexperienced 4yr old in 2005 with great potential. Fleur has made big achievements in all discipline's especially winning the SW WPCS Performance awards for the best Part Bred Welsh 2007 and selected to represent the SW at the WPCS at the National Performance awards 2008 and winning the Conquor d'elegance at the SWPA Championships 2006. Fleur is now sold back to the Fofsway Stud. We would like to thank Evadne Cosgrove who gave us the wonderful opportunity of producing this special pony, who has been such a joy to own.
Erimus Morning Jewel
Is a registered Part Bred Arab. Sire Ambershire Small Talk and dam Erimus Spring Morning. Purchased from the Roseview Stud in 2005 where she bred 2 foals Roseview Jasmine and Roseview Juliet she was shown as a brood mare and won many championships. Morning Jewel has such amazing temperament and is superb in the dressage arena, and a real jem of a pony. Morning Jewel qualified for the Cherif 2007, GB dressage Winter League 2007 and 2008 and won many Championships in 2007 and qualifying for Trailblazers 2007, SW Dressage Championships 2008 and Qualified for the Wales and West Festival 2007 & 2008. Molly has had a break in summer 2008, but she is now under saddle again and back in the show ring at her first show qualified for SW pony of the year 2009, Royal London 2009 and Equifest 2009. 2009 was a good year with obtaining qualifications for BSPS winter champs in novice,Restricted & Open Intermediate and also Novice SP, Wessex Arab Inhand Championships & BSPS Blue Ribbon and Premier League and the Cherif. She has already picked up qualifications for Equifest, Royal London, SWPA & DCPHA 2010 Championships on her first outing of 2010. 2010 she's been inhand Champion at Fraddon, Ridden Champion at Rambuck Fair then at the Cornish Arab Breed Show she won her Mare inhand class on route to the Inhand Championship, then in the ridden won the Cherif class and taking ridden champion then went supreme of show. Also Lilian took the Midland Young Riders Qualification for the Arab National Show. She also won the Inhand SP class at Stithians. We are now looking forward to DCHPA Championship Show.
Bochym Magic Silhouette
is a registered Welsh B, broken as a 5 year old by Lilian in 2008 as her 'little project' she is very pretty, quiet and kind. Sire Boston Black Magic and dam Colne Sunmist. Magic has been owned by Jacquie, since a yearling and has been successfully shown in hand up to county level. Magic showed outstanding promise under saddle. Lilian and Magic competed in their first show 6 weeks after breaking and at only their second show 8 weeks after breaking they were Reserve Champion M & M Ridden at a very competative show. She attended dressage training sessions, which she enjoyed and has a natural talent and has wonderfull paces. She has now moved on to give other children a lot of fun and enjoyment.
Fofsway Louise
This great safe 6 years old was purchased from the Fofsway Stud in 2007. She is a registered part bred Welsh. Sire: Rosevean Monsoon and dam: Colbeach Gala Princess. She has the most wonderful temperment for children. Louise has amazing paces and showing great promise as a competition pony. She is a pleasure to own and a real gem to take out. She won best PB Inhand Champion at the points evening for 2008 with the SW WPCS. She has had a fantastic year in 2009 qualifing for SW pony of the year championships, Equifest and Royal London in the SP and P/B M&M classes also for the BSPS winter champs in SHP novice & SW Welsh Champion of the year. Louise and Zoe as a combination were selected to represent the SW at the WPCS at the National Performance competition 2009. They have now gone on to be selected for Penryn College Show Jumping Team.
At the SW WPCS Performance Competition she was 1st & Reserve Champion PB Inhand and overall Inhand Champion for Cornwall 2009. Now sold, well done to Massey at her first show winning supreme champion under saddle.
